Marie Brandt, PhD, is a senior scientist at the LBI:AD. Her research interests include playing around with various radiometals for both diagnostic and therapeutic medical applications, especially for immunoPET.

She has an extensive background in nuclear-/radiochemistry. She studied chemistry in Bonn and Cologne and obtained her PhD in Nuclear Chemistry from Forschungszentrum Jülich INM-5 / Universität zu Köln in 2017. Before she joined the LBI:AD, she worked on the development of bimodal PET/MR contrast agents based on manganese-52g.
