Research Paper in Theranostics by Johannes Längle

A new study by scientists of the Department of Surgery of the Medical University of Vienna and Vienna General Hospital showed that DNA damages may predict the prognosis and the treatment response in colorectal liver metastases. The data refuted the preclinical experiments and revealed that DNA damages have a negative impact on the recurrence-free and overall survival. The study „DNA damage predicts prognosis and treatment response in colorectal liver metastases superior to immunogenic cell death and T cells“ was published in the top journal Theranostics by the first author Johannes Längle. The research was partly supported by the LBI Applied Diagnostics.
