During the following Rapid Fire Presentations, six contestants that had been pre-selected because of outstanding submitted posters, had the chance to present their work within three minutes in front of a large audience. Marie Brandt, Post Doc of our LBI’s program line Imaging Biomarkers, was one of the six presenters. For her short introduction on her project on DFO* and oxoDFO*: Optimized new Chelators for Zirconium-89 ImmunoPET, she was awarded the bronze award of the MIC FESTIVAL 2019. Congratulations, Marie, on this achievement!
Out of the 88 submitted posters for the poster walk, our LBI was represented by a second poster, this one by Carolina Giammei. She is one of the PhD students from the Imaging Biomarkers program line and presented some of her work in the poster entitled Glycosylated [99mTc]Tc-Labeled Bombesin Conjugate for Improved Pharmacokinetics in Tumor Diagnosis.
