Theresa Balber is the principal investigator of an FFG research partnership grant (Industrial PhD, “In Ovo Xenografts”) and is significantly involved in preclinical testing and imaging at the LBI:AD.

After her initial studies in pharmacy, Theresa specialized in radiopharmacy and worked as a research assistant at the Department for Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy, Division of Nuclear Medicine, Medical University of Vienna. She obtained her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Vienna in March 2019.

Moreover, Theresa enjoys teaching and supervising undergraduates and is a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Vienna, at the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Applied Sciences.
